MTV Volt with 6-inch display, Android 4.1 launched for Rs. 12999

MTV has partnered with SWIPE Telecom to launched a co-branded phablet, the MTV Volt in India. It has a 6-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a dual-core 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has an inbuilt TV-player that offers on-the-go access to MTV and FM Radio with FM Transmitter. This would compete with Byond Phablet PIII and the Karbonn A30 that were launched back in December.

The MTV Volt has white velvet body with textured back and is priced at Rs. 12,999. It would be available through 10,000 retail points across India, Swipe e-store and leading online portals.
