Oppo teases the 5.9 inch N1 for a September 23rd reveal

Oppo has been constantly teasing the officially confirmed N1, the first in the series of camera centric flagship devices from the Chinese manufacturer. This time, they have revealed that the device is going to sport a huge 5.9 inch screen, which negates the earlier leaked specifications that the device will sport a 5.5 inch display. They have also revealed the front wireframe, which looks remarkably similar to the earlier leaked images, confirming the authenticity of the leaks. It was revealed to have a back-side touch sensor to navigate in a completely different way, adding to the fact that it might sport a really good camera.

Motorola Moto X Benchmarks

Motorola and Google unveiled the latest Android smartphone, the Moto X recently. We brought you the unboxing of the device recently, here we have the benchmarks of the device. The Moto X is powered by a 1.7 GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM8960DT processor with Adreno 320 GPU. The chip  is based on 28-nanometer (nm) process technology and Krait 300 architecture that offers maximum performance with less power consumption Let’s check out the benchmarks of the device to see how it performs.

Meizu MX3 with 5.1-inch 1080p display, octa-core Exynos 5 processor announced

Meizu has just announced the MX3 in China after several rumors. It is the successor of the MX2 that we reviewed recently. The MX3 has a 5.1-inch (1800 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with 415 PPI resolution, powered by a octa-core Exynos 5410 processor and runs on Flyme OS 3.0. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Sony Exmor RS BSI sensor,  f/2.0 aperture and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. iBall Andi 4.7G Cobalt Review

The iBall Andi 4.7G Cobalt has the right mixture of specifications and pricing to make it a successful, but only if people knew of its existence. It is a typical mid-range phablet that has the specifications and pricing resembling other devices, but is different in its own way. Micromax Canvas Fun A76, the first phone is the Canvas Fun series went on sale online couple of weeks back, now the Canvas Fun A74 is available from online retailers Snapdeal and Saholic. It has a 4.5-inch (480 x 854 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The Micromax Canvas Fun A63 has appeared on the official Micromax website. It has a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display and a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Other features are mostly similar to the Canvas Fun A74.

It has a 4.0-inch (480×800 pixels) display, powered by 1 GHz Dual-Core Cortex A9 Processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel Auto focus camera with flash and a front-facing camera for video calling. It has 35 lumens projector that allows users to project instantly up to 10 feet by 8 feet  in VGA (480 x 640 pixels) resolution. The projector has a contrast ratio of 1200:1. Motorola Moto X Unboxing

The Moto X is the all new Motorola phone designed and manufactured in the US and it is one first few phones to come out of a Motorola owned by Google. The Moto X was announced on Aug 1st after numerous leaks. The Moto X is currently on sale only in the US on AT&T and through Motorola’s MotoMaker website. It is not going to be available in India or any other market anytime soon, so we managed to get one from the US just for you guys because at the end of the day we love technology and think that great products should be available globally to anyone interested. So presenting the Motorola Moto X Unboxing , probably one of the first unboxings of this device from outside the US and pretty much the first in India !

LG G Pad 8.3 announced with Full HD display, Snapdragon 600 processor

LG had been teasing an upcoming tablet known as the G Pad 8.3 and today in Seoul , the company has finally taken the wraps of the LG G Pad 8.3 Android tablet and it does look like the big brother of the LG G2 smartphone which debuted recently. The GPad will be showcased at IFA 2013 in Berlin this week and true to its name it packs a 8.3 inch display with a massive 1920×1200 resolution similar to the resolution of the screen on the new Nexus 7 2013. On the inside it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 Quadcore Processor running at  1.7GHz. LG has managed to pack a 4600 mAh battery into this device which is only about 8.3 mm thick and still weighs only about 338 grams. It runs on Android 4.2.2

Flickr for iPhone updated with new camera, live filters and more

Yahoo! has updated the Flickr app for iPhone with a new camera and photo filters. Yahoo! acquired GhostBird Software, creators of popular iOS photography apps KitCam, and the new features are result of it, created by GhostBird Software team. The update brings live inline filters and editing capabilities, Live Filters let you see how your photo looks while you take it. Digg Reader for Android released

Digg has released their official Android app on Google Play. This offers stories from the Digg homepage as well as Digg Reader on Android devices. This is the first Android release, so the app would be gradually improved with missing features such as a Show Only Unread Items view, text size and display mode options, and background updating, says the company. Xolo Play gets a new OTA update, improves performance

Xolo has announced that they have started rolling out a new over-the-air (OTA) update for the Xolo Play that improves the performance of the update. The Xolo Play (T1000) was launched last month, and we reviewed the device recently. It is the first phone from Xolo to be powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor. The graphics is taken care of 416 MHz 12 Core NVIDIA ULP GeForce GPU.  It runs on Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean), sadly the new update does not bring Android 4.2.
