Apple iPad Pro with 9.7-inch True Tone display, A9X chip, 12MP camera official, starts at $599
Apple just announced the new iPad Pro, a smaller version of last year’s iPad Pro with a 9.7-inch True Tone Retina display, as expected. The True Tone display measures the color temperature to the ambient light and adjusts the screen to match. It has a A9X, Apple’s 3rd generation 64-bit chip and four speakers, similar to the original iPad Pro. It has a new 12-megapixel iSight camera with 4K video recording, similar to the iPhone 6s and also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Apple’s brand new 4-inch iPhone SE goes official
After being out of service for a brief period, the 4-inch iPhone is back with some goodness. Apple is naming the new model as ‘SE’ – which can be depicted as an ‘enhanced’ version of the 5s or refer to as a ‘special edition’.
So what’s so special about the special edition? Well, the Cupertino giants have retained most of the external design from their previous 4-inch flagship, but the internals have all gotten better. Qihoo 360 (QiKU) today introduced F4, the company’s latest budget smartphone at an event in China, as it had promised. It has a 5-inch HD display, is powered by an Octa-Core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor, runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with 360 OS and anti-theft security feature. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF for quick focus in 0.1 seconds and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Intex is all set to launch Aqua Ace II, the successor of last year’s Aqua Ace. Even though the official listing doesn’t reveal the price, according to Mahesh Telecom, the phone is priced at Rs. 8,999 and the stocks are expected tin a few days. Samsung reclaims DxOMark throne with the Galaxy S7 Edge
Samsung shot to the top of the DxOMark ratings last year which is one of the top sites for camera benchmarks. First with the S6 edge and later on with the S6 edge+. Shortly after, Sony’s Xperia Z5 challenged the smartphone and finished with an equal score which resulted in a tied first place between both the smartphones. Now, Samsung has a new champion in the form of the Galaxy S7 Edge.
