Few hours back at the //Build 2016 in San Francisco, Microsoft announced that Windows 10 is now running on more than 270 million active devices worldwide after 8 months of its launch. Earlier this year Microsoft announced that it was running on more than 200 million active devices worldwide. Windows 10 is the fastest growth on any Windows ever, outpacing Windows 7 in the same timeframe by 145%. OnePlus has finally released OxygenOS 3.0 Beta based on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) for the OnePlus 2 smartphone, after the soak test. The update also brings new OnePlus Camera UI, new wallpaper picker, performance improvements, fingerprint performance improvement and several new features and improvements. Xiaomi has released MIUI global beta ROM 6.3.17 for Mi 3, Mi 4 and Mi Note smartphone. This is based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and also brings several new features, fixes and optimizations. Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A9100), the company’s latest top-end smartphone in the ‘Galaxy A’ series in China, after it surfaced last month. It packs a 6-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 (Previously 620) processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the A9, but this a 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), 4GB of RAM and a 5000mAh battery. Micromax has officially launched the Canvas Spark 3 Q385, it’s new budget smartphone and the successor of last year’s Canvas Spark 2, after it surfaced on the official website. Gionee has officially announced its latest W909 Android flip phone, as it had promised. It has dual 4.2-inch HD displays, one on the front and the the other on the inside along with a T9 keypad. It is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC, has 4GB of RAM, comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016), it’s new selfie-focused smartphones and successors of last year’s Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 smartphones in China. The Galaxy J5 (2016) has a 5.2-inch HD screen and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor and the Galaxy J7 (2016) has a 5.5-inch 1080p screen and is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 processor. Xiaomi introduced Redmi 3 earlier this year, after the recent certification, Xiaomi has officially introduced the Redmi 3 Pro with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a fingerprint sensor on the back. Other specifications remain the same, including a 5-inch HD screen, Octa-Core Snapdragon 616 SoC, MIUI 7 based on Android Lollipop, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), resulting in a quick focus of just 0.1 second and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
