Citibank offered 10% cash back on iPad mini back in May, now it offers 10% cash back on the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C that is launching in India today. This limited period Diwali offer is available in India only today, November 1st and is applicable for users who purchase these iPhones with Citibank credit cards at the launch locations in select cities. Citibank says that Cashback is limited to 10% of the MRP of the product purchased and capped at Rs. 12000 per card for transactions. Twitter has updated both the Android (v 4.1.9) and iPhone (v5.12) apps with a new in-line preview. Now, Tweets that have images posted via Twitter and videos will be available in-line. You can just tap to see more of the photo or play the video. You can turn off the image previews from the settings. You can also reply, retweet or favorite a Tweet easily from your timeline just by a tap. Twitter for Android and iPhone got conversations view back in August. Tapbots, the creators of the popular Tweetbot app has finally released a new version of the Tweetbot as iOS 7 update. The company had missed to update the app for the iOS 7 software that was released last month. It recently announced that they have finally submitted Tweetbot for iPhone to the app store on October 17th. When the existing Tweetbot users thought the app would be updated with iOS 7 support, the company has now released the Tweetbot 3 as a new app for iOS 7 users. MapmyIndia, popular for its GPS navigation and mobile apps has launched the MapmyIndia Maps app for iPhone users. MapmyIndia made Sygic & MapmyIndia offline GPS Navigation app for Android completely free for Indian users last month. This offers  accurate and updated interactive maps of India including house addresses. It also offers Step-by-step driving direction, POIs and more. Nokia Lumia 1520 vs Apple iPhone 5s Hands On

Nokia launched a lot of devices at their Nokia World Event in Abu Dhabi. Among the devices that were launched, one smartphone stood out, not just in terms of size, but in terms of other things too. As the smartphone market is taking a turn towards the phablet segment, Nokia launched their first phablet Nokia Lumia 1520. Nokia Lumia 1520 stood out because it is the first Windows Phone phablet, the first Windows Phone 8 smartphone with a quad-core processor and the first Windows Phone device that has a Full HD 1080p display. Although Apple is yet to goto the phablet territory, we have Apple’s latest and greatest smartphone – Apple iPhone 5S against the Lumia 1520.

BBM to resume roll out to iPhone and Android today but new users will be on a waiting list

It’s back. The BlackBerry Messenger, fondly known as BBM faced some intense server loads thanks to a pre-release leak on Android, which forced the company to postpone the much awaited launch. After a long wait, it looks like the company is finally up to speed and ready to launch on both iOS and Android today, resuming where it left off on iOS and completely starting afresh on Android. According to the official blog, you should be hopefully seeing the BBM app popup on the App Store, Google Play and the Samsung Apps Store any time in the next few hours. We’ll posting the links here once it goes live. Meanwhile you can check how it looks in an iPhone, in our hands on post that we did earlier.

Apple just confirmed the official prices for the iPhone 5c in India which is expected to go on sale on November 1st in the country. Shockingly the iPhone 5c is going to cost a lot and start from Rs.41900 including taxes for the 16GB version. The 32GB version of the iPhone 5c will cost Rs.53500.  Just for the context the iPhone 5c costs USD 549 in the US for an unlocked unit.That translates to around Rs.36000 approx including taxes. Apple iPhone 5S India Prices out , starts from Rs.53500 for 16GB

Apple has just revealed the official pricing for the iPhone 5S in India which goes on sale on November 1st .The iPhone 5s will be available in gold, silver or space grey an will retail at a price of Rs.53,500 including VAT for the 16GB model. This is so much higher than the launch price of the iPhone 5 last year of Rs.45500 mainly due to the weak rupee.
