Airtel to offer Apple iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S in India

India’s leading mobile operator Bharti Airtel just announced that it would offer the Apple iPhone 5S and 5C on the Airtel network starting from November 1st. This news comes after Apple announced that it was indeed launching the new iPhone in India on November 1st. Reliance Communications also announced that it going to offer the new iPhones on its network. Historically Apple has launched the iPhone on Airtel and Vodafone and Aircel made it to the list recently. Reliance is the new addition this year.

Apple Might Be Cutting iPhone 5C Production

Reports say that Apple might be reducing the production of it’s iPhone 5C by 50% – from 300,000 units to 150,000 units. The source which leaked of the iPhone 5S and 5C before their announcements, claims that the reason behind this is the fall in the Grey market pricing for the phone.

Apple iPhone 5C and 5S launching in India on Nov 1st

Apple has just confirmed in a global announcement that the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S are launching in India and several other countries on Friday November 1st. What comes as a surprise is that India and Mexico get a pretty prominent mention in the press release.Pricing info is still not revealed but we are expecting the 5S to be priced very similar to the iPhone 5 launch pricing at around Rs.45000.The 5C should be priced at around the Rs.35000 mark.The main highlights iPhone 5S include the new TouchID fingerprint scanner , improved camera , faster internals and some new colours including the Gold and Space Grey colors. Microsoft to release Remote Desktop apps for iOS and Android this month

Remote Desktop has been a popular feature for Windows PCs for a long time, mainly used to remotely help your friends or family, usually for troubleshooting. The Server-Client methodology has enabled the clients to exist on many platforms. In fact, the Remote Desktop Protocol is widely known to be used in third party apps, but as always, nothing comes close to the apps done by the people who created it. Microsoft are doing just that, by releasing Remote Desktop apps for iOS and Android later this month, according to the company’s own press release.

The Apple iPhone 5s and 5c have been the fastest selling iPhones combined for Apple, with them seeing more than 9 million getting sold over just 3 days, but one thing that has been evading everyone’s hands and eyes has been the gold edition of the iPhone 5S. It has been sold out in nearly ever market the 5S has launched. Fortunately though, we have got our hands on the elusive Gold edition in the Hong Kong Apple Store. LINE, a cross-platform messaging app from a Japanese Internet Company was officially launched in India back in July. The app has received a major update for iPhone and Android to version 3.9, that brings a lot of new features including option to make and receive video calls, Albums feature that lets you create and edit photo albums with a friend or in groups and more. The iPhone app has Snap Movie function to add BGM to short videos and send them to your friends.

Albums lets you create and edit photo albums with a friend or in groups. Anyone in the group can add new photos to the album or delete existing ones.

Now you can remove friends from your Blocked or Hidden lists.

The new iPhone version also adds support for iOS7 and also allows you to forward videos received in chats to other groups or friends. Video calls feature is also available for Mac app. Snap Movie feature would be available for Android soon. The app is also available for Windows Phone and BlackBerry.
