Gionee has launched P7 Max, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘P Series’ in India. It has a 5.5-inch HD display with NEG glass protection, is powered by a 2.2 GHz Octa Core MediaTek processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Amigo 3.2 on top. Ulefone has introduced U007 Pro, an upgraded version of the U007 that was introduced back in June. This has 4G support and the MediaTek MT6580A SoC has been replaced by MT6735 SoC. Google showed preview of Android 7.1 (Nougat), the next incremental Android update at the Pixel launch event last week. Today it has announced that it will release open developer preview of Android 7.1 for select Nexus devices later this month. This brings new features for consumers and developers, including better Daydream VR support and A/B system updates such as app shortcuts and image keyboard support.
