OnePlus 3, the company’s flagship smartphone will get Android 7.0 (Nougat) beta or “community” build by the end of this month. Brian Yoon, the company’s head of software, in an interview with Engadget also announced that it will roll out Android Noguat over-the-air update to all the OnePlus 3 users by the end of the year once all the bugs are ironed out.

Yoon also confirmed that older devices like the OnePlus 2 will be updated to Nougat, but he did not confirm any time-frame for the roll out.

OnePlus is updating its OxygenOS frequently adding new features and fixing bugs. It recently released OxygenOS 3.5.5 community build for the OnePlus 3 that brought several new features incuding, DashFile transfer feature inside file manager for easy file transfers between other OnePlus devices or any other device, new Community app, redesigned Phone calling UI, new simplified launcher layout like HydrogenOS and more. Hope we can expect the community build based on Android Nougat soon.
