Google announced at yesterday’s event that it will roll out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for Nexus devices starting from next week. Soon after that HTC confirmed the list of phones that will get Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update. HTC’s global online communications manager Jeff Gordon said that the One M9 and One M8 smartphones will get the update before the end of this year.

HTC schedules event on October 20 for new Android Marshmallow device, One A9 expected

HTC has sent out invites for its event on October 20th, where it will introduce a new smartphone running Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). The invite just says #BeBrilliant on a charcoal background, which hints at the Carbon Gray color of the leaked HTC One A9. Almost all the specifications of the One A9 were leaked earlier, check out the rumored specifications below.

Google just announced Pixel C, the company’s latest tablet in the Pixel series. It has a 10.2-inch (3200×1800 pixels) 500 nits 16:9 display, is powered byNVIDIA Tegra X1 processor with 256-core Maxwell architecture GPU and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It also has a keyboard that is sold separately that attaches to the tablet magnetically. It connects over Bluetooth, clings to the back of the tablet when you’re not using it and inductively charges whenever it’s closed. HTC introduces new One M9+ with 21MP camera, Laser AF and OIS

HTC today introduced an upgraded One M9+ Aurora Edition smartphone with a better camera, along with the international version of the Butterfly 3, as expected. The One M9+ that was announced back in April and launched in India the same month has a 20.7MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 27.8mm lens and a secondary depth sensing camera, the new One M9+ Aurora Edition has a 21MP camera with 26.7mm lens, f/2.2 aperture and the secondary camera has been replaced by Laser Auto Focus for faster focus. It also has phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) that further improves the camera’s focus and also includes Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
