Vodafone already announced that it will launch 4G services in India by December 2015. It also said that Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Kochi circles will get 4G first. Today the operator has announced that it will roll out 4G services in Kerala by December 2015. It also said that Kochi, Trivandrum and Kozhikode will be in the first wave of the 4G roll-out, which will be launched across the circle in a phased manner. Airtel has launched of its Platinum 3G services for customers in Indore and Haryana. The Platinum 3G network will boost indoor coverage, enhance voice clarity, deliver faster internet speeds and will also help optimize the back-end engagement between the network and mobile devices, said the company. ZTE has announced ZMAX 2, successor of last year’s ZMAX smartphone for AT&T in the U.S. It has a 5.5-inch HD display, is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has 4G LTE connectivity. Aircel today announced that it will be adding 13000 2G, 3G and 4G sites across India by December 2015. Out of the 13000 sites, 5300 sites are 2G and the remaining 7700 are 3G and 4G sites combined, said the company. This will be more affordable compared to per minute plan and ensure that customers pay only for the time they use, says the company. Vodafone India today announced that it will roll out 4G services in the country by December 2015. Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Kochi will be the first set of cities to get Vodafone 4G in the first wave of the roll-out by the end of the calendar year 2015. It has already started testing 4G services and has roped in technology infrastructure service providers for the network roll-out.
