It has been a while since the Nexus 6 on US Cellular and Sprint got the update to Android Lollipop 5.1.1. The version on AT&T was stuck on 5.1.0 Lollipop but now is finally getting the update.
LG’s flagship, the G4 is now available across all major carriers in the US – Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and US Cellular. They have now made the leather back covers available for pre-order for customers online and they have an interesting offer as well.
AT&T have taken to Twitter to tease the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 Active smartphone. The smartphone was leaked several times in the past, including a recent page leak on Samsung’s website itself.
Apple Stores are no longer offering iPhones with 2 year contracts on AT&T’s network. Instead, customers will be asked to opt for AT&T Next plan.
AT&T has rolled out FiLIP 2 smartwatch that is aimed at kids ages between 4 to 11. The successor of the original FiLIP launched last year, FiLIP 2 is priced at $99.99.
LG G3 Vigor a variant of the LG G3 Beat will arrive on AT&T for $334.99 without contract on September 26. The mid range device from LG will also support AT&T’s HD Voice for clearer calls.
HTC officially unveiled its One (M8) for Windows about 24 hours ago. Back at the announcement, the device was said to be limited to Verizon Wireless. However, it looks like the carrier’s exclusivity will not last long as AT&T has announced that the Windows version of the One (M8) will soon be available on its network. Motorola has surprisingly updated the Moto X to Android 4.4 really quick and the OTA update just showed up on our AT&T unit which we have been happily using in India.The Android 4.4 KitKat update for the MotoX is about 326MB in size and bears the version number 140.44.5.en.US. The update was pretty straight forward and came in as a Over the Air update and installation took about 20 mins to complete. Motorola had already started rolling out the update for the Verizon version.

AT&T has updated its device return policy and from October 7th on wards, customers have to return the device within 14 days.
AT&T has announced they would sell both the Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820, Nokia’s latest Windows Phone 8 devices. Both these devices were announced last month at an Event in New York, and the price of these phones were revealed for some European countries last week. The Lumia 920 has a 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ display, while the 820 comes with a 4.3 inch-inch (800 x 480 pixels) OLED ClearBlack display. Both these phones are powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and has a 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video recording. AT&T has announced that the Samsung Galaxy S III would be available exclusively in Garnet Red color by this month as they promised. It has similar features as the White and Blue version including, 4.8-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by Snapdragon S4 1.5 GHz Dual Core processor. AT&T has announced the pre-order for the Garnet Red variant of the Samsung Galaxy S3 which is exclusive to AT&T. Customers can pre-order this device through the operators website and in the company’s retail stores starting from July 15. In-store availability is set for July 29th. We have already seen the White Galaxy S3 and the Pebble Blue S3 and this is the first glimpse at the red one. There a couple of photos after the jump.
