NXP Semiconductors and Qualcomm have announced the integration of near field communication (NFC) and embedded secure element (eSE) solutions across Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, 600, 400 and 200 processor platforms. The processors now includes pre-validation of mobile transaction services including transit and payment.

Remix OS 2.0 Beta for PC with 32-bit and dual boot support coming on March 1
Jide Technology that released Remix OS 2.0 alpha version for PCs and laptops last month, today announced that it will release beta version of Remix OS for PC on March 1st through OTA and will also be available for download on the official website. “The new Beta version has a substantial number of bug fixes and an increase in device compatibility, as well as over-the-air (OTA) updates, 32-bit system support and dual boot support through a new hard drive installer tool,” said the company. SanDisk today introduced the Extreme PRO microSDXC UHS-II card, which the company claims to be the world’s fastest microSD card with a transfer speeds of up to 275MBps. It features Class 10 and UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) and is suitable for capturing Full HD and 4K Ultra HD videos on action cams, drones and smartphones. Nokia Growth Partners secures $350M fund for Internet of Things
Nokia Growth Partners (NGP) has raised $350 million fund for investments in Internet of Things (IoT) companies. The fund is sponsored by Nokia and will serve to seek new opportunities to grow the ecosystem in IoT solutions. The latest round of funding brings NGP’s total assets under management to over USD 1 billion, including USD 500 million available for new investments.
