Redmi AirDots 3 Pro with Bluetooth 5.2, active noise cancellation, low latency gaming mode announced

Along with the Redmi Note 10 5G series, Xiaomi under its Redmi brand also introduced its Redmi AirDots 3 Pro, the next-generation budget true wireless earbuds in China. It has the latest Bluetooth 5.2, dual-device connectivity and can achieve a low latency of as low as 69ms. It also has active noise cancellation with up to 35dB active noise reduction, thanks to feed-forward and feed-back microphones it effectively eliminates external environmental noise during calls. Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G with 6.6-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, Dimensity 1100, 5000mAh battery, 67W fast charging announced

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand just announced the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone in China, as it had promised. It packs a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, Adaptive sync variable refresh rate to switch between 120Hz, 90Hz, 60Hz, 50Hz, 48Hz and 24Hz depending on the content, supports DCI-P3 color gamut and has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is powered by Dimensity 1100 with support for 5G SA/NSA, up to 8GB of RAM and has 16370mm² VC liquid cooling, graphite, thermal conductive gel and copper foil, so the whole body is covered for the best heat dissipation. Xiaomi officially removed from U.S. DoD blacklist

Back in January, the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) released a blacklist of 9 companies including Xiaomi as a Communist Chinese Military Company. After contesting the decision in February, a U.S. federal judge temporarily blocked the DoD from enforcing the consequences of the decision in March. Redmi Note 8 2021 with 6.3-inch FHD+ display, Helio G85, 48MP quad rear cameras announced

[Update – May 25: Xiaomi has confirmed the pricing for the phone. The 4GB+64GB version is priced at US$ 169 (Rs. 12,305 approx.) and the 4GB+128GB version costs $189 (Rs. 13,760 approx.). Xiaomi reduces MIUI Security app animations for low end devices

Xiaomi proprietary Android skin MIUI offers a security app that has various features including Cleaner, Speed Booster, WhatsApp Cleaner, and a lot more. The app got a major overhaul with MIUI 10, but Xiaomi baked in various animations to the Security app with MIUI 12. These animations didn’t probably work smoothly on the low-end devices, as Xiaomi has decided to ditch the animation with the new version of the Security app. Xiaomiui, a Xiaomi-focused blog, took it to Twitter to share the screenshots from the new Security app.

Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition 40-inch Smart TV with bezel-less design launching in India on June 1

Xiaomi launched the Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition series of smart TVs in India that includes 32-inch HD ready and 43-inch Full HD models with immersive Horizon display with minimal bezels back in September last year. Redmi K40 Light Luxury Edition with Dimensity 1100, 67W fast charging surfaces in benchmarks

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand already confirmed that it will introduce new Redmi Note 10 series phones in China on May 26th. Now a new phone with the model number Xiaomi M2104K10AC has surfaced in Geekbench benchmark that reveals Dimensity 1100 SoC, 8GB of RAM and Android 11 with MIUI 12.5. This is said to be K40 Light Luxury Edition which the Redmi head Lu Weibing teased last week. Xiaomi this week confirmed that it will introduce new Redmi Note 10 series 5G smartphones in China on May 26th. The company has been posting new teaser images and is also posting features of the phone. The company is expected to introduce several models including a Dimensity 700 base Note 10 5G model, and there are also reports of Dimensity 900 for Note 10 Pro 5G and even a top-end Dimensity 1100-powered Note 10 Pro+ / Ultra model. Xiaomi confirms Redmi Note 8 (2021) will be introduced soon

Update: Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch Redmi Note 8 (2021) for global markets soon. The new teaser shows a waterdrop notch, same as the Note 9. It also said that the global Redmi Note 8 sales have crossed 25 million. Last year in May the company said that the combined sales of Redmi Note 8 series were 30 million. Xiaomi India extends warranty of its products by two months if its expiring this May or June

After POCO’s announcement last week, Xiaomi India today announced that it will extend the warranty of its devices that are expiring in May or June this year by two months. Due to current situation in the country, the state government have imposed lockdown in several places, so the users of Xiaomi products are facing issues with their devices couldn’t get them serviced. Redmi Note 10S with 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Helio G95, 6GB RAM, 5000mAh battery launched in India starting at Rs. 14999

Xiaomi just launched the Redmi Note 10S, the company’s latest mid-range Redmi smartphone in India as it had promised. It comes with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with up to 1100 nits brightness, 60Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Inside the 3.54mm punch-hole there is a 13-megapixel camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 with 6GB of RAM, dual layer graphite sheet and runs Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 out of the box, but the company says that this is the interim version and a full version with all the features including option to uninstall system apps will be added via OTA update.
