Xiaomi teases new Redmi Note 10 series with VC liquid cooling, UFS 3.1 storage and RedmiBook Pro with Ryzen 5000 series for May 26

Xiaomi this week confirmed that it will introduce new Redmi Note 10 series 5G smartphones in China on May 26th. The company has been posting new teaser images and is also posting features of the phone. The company is expected to introduce several models including a Dimensity 700 base Note 10 5G model, and there are also reports of Dimensity 900 for Note 10 Pro 5G and even a top-end Dimensity 1100-powered Note 10 Pro+ / Ultra model.

The image shows triple rear cameras and the phone in Phantom Blue colour with a unique 3D three-dimensional texture with micro-engraving process. It uses ultra-fine sandblasting, so it doesn’t attract fingerprints and is silky smooth to touch, says the company. The top-end version will come with dual-channel UFS 3.1 storage support, will support high frame rate mode of 8 mainstream games, which the company says has been tested to run games at constant 90fps with minimal frame drop.

It will also come with 16370mm² VC liquid cooling  graphite, thermal conductive gel and copper foil, so the whole body is covered so that it can achieve the best heat dissipation. The phone will weigh 193 grams.

The company also confirmed that it will also introduce new RedmiBook Pro laptops with Ryzen 5000 series CPUs based on Zen 3 architecture and 50% better heat dissipation. The company recently confirmed that there will also be a Mi Notebook Pro X with RTX 3050Ti GPU, but with Intel 11th Gen Tiger Lake processor in June.

The Redmi Note 10 5G is rumoured to feature 90Hz LCD screen, 48MP main camera, and 18W fast charging similar to the global version, Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G with 120Hz LCD screen, 64MP main camera, and 33W fast charging, and the top-end Note 10 Pro+ with a 120Hz OLED screen, 108MP main camera and 67W fast charging.

We should know more details in the coming days before these are introduced next Wednesday.
