Xiaomi recently introduced Mi Router 3G, its latest top-end WiFi router in China. It is a 802.11ac dual-band router, similar to the Mi Router 3 that we had unboxed recently, but this comes with a faster processor, more RAM and ROM compared to the predecessor. It also comes with USB 3.0 port for faster data sharing, compared to USB 2.0 port on last year’s Mi Router 3. Xiaomi introduced Mi Router 3, its first 802.11ac dual-band router in China back in March last year, but it decided to launch only the Mi Router 3C 802.11n single-band router in India this month. We managed to get one from Taiwan recently for about NT$ 765 (Rs. 1640 approx.), which is even cheaper in China at 149 yuan (Rs. 1400 approx.). Check out the unboxing.

Xiaomi just announced Mi Max 2, successor of last year’s Mi Max phablet at an event in China. It packs the same 6.44-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display as the predecessor, but this has 0.7mm ultra narrow bezel on the side. It is powered by Snapdragon 625 processor, has an improved 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, 1.25μm pixel size, PDAF and dual-tone LED flash. Xiaomi introduced new Mi TV 4 series at the CES 2017 earlier this. It has finally launched these TVs in China that come in 49-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch sizes and have 4K panel with support for HDR. These have a 4.9mm slim frameless design and the top-end 65-inch model also comes with Dolby Atmos audio technology with 2 up-firing speakers, that are basically pointed at the ceiling which reflects the sound to provide a 3-dimensional experience.
