Earlier today Xiaomi officially announced MIUI 9 Global ROM along with Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite in an event in India. The company announced that MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM will start hitting Mi Mix 2, Mi Max 2 and Redmi Note 4 starting tomorrow. A few days ago, we reported that company started testing MIUI 9 Stable Nightly update for Mi Max 2, and this evening Xiaomi started rolling out MIUI 9 Global Stable update to Redmi Note 4 (Qualcomm variant).
The new update comes as MIUI 9.0.3.0NCFMIEI and is of 266 MB in size, the update comes with October security patch. The update brings major changes to the Redmi Note 4 like split screen, quick switch, screen recorder, new system animation and a lot more, for more details on MIUI 9 refer to this post.
