Yesterday Xiaomi confirmed that its upcoming ‘killer flagship’ will be called the Redmi K20. Today, congratulating the OnePlus for the new flagship, Manu Jain, Vice President, Xiaomi has posted that Flagship Killer 2.0 is coming soon. This highlights the K20, confirming the name and also reveals that it will be powered by Snapdragon 855.

Redmi K20 confirmed officially, will be ‘flagship killer’ in the Redmi series

Redmi today confirmed that its upcoming flagship will be called Redmi K20. Regarding the naming, Redmi President Lu Weibing said that the K series is the performance flagship of Redmi, and K stands for killer, so the Redmi K20 will be flagship killer!

Xiaomi releases Android Pie based kernel source for Redmi Note 6 Pro

Xiaomi launched first quad camera phone Redmi Note 6 Pro in India back in November running MIUI 10 on top of Android 8.1 (Oreo) and recently rolled out Android 9.0 (Pie) based MIUI Global Stable 10.3 for the smartphone. Now, the company has released Android Pie kernel sources for the Redmi Note 6 Pro (codename tulip).

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro sales cross 2 million units in India, new 48MP camera phone coming soon

Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro in February, and the company last month said that it sold  1 Million or 10 lakh Units of Redmi Note 7 Series within a month of launch. Today, the company has announced that the combined sale has hit 2 million or 20 lakh units in India in 2 months. The record of 2 Million Units combines both online sales and offline sales. Xiaomi Redmi Y3 Camera Samples

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Y3 selfie-focused smartphone last month, here we have the camera samples from the phone. The phone packs a 12-megapixel primary rear camera with single LED Flash, 1/2.8″ OmniVision OV12A10 sensor, 1.25um pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, EIS along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera with OmniVision OV02A10 sensor to capture depth information in portrait shots. It has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with 1/2.8″ Samsung S5KGD1 sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, f/2.25 aperture and 80-degree field of view (FOV).

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 into space to take some shots and brought it back in functioning condition

Xiaomi has announced that it launched the Redmi Note 7 (Chinese 48MP version) into space and back. It traveled 35,375 meters above sea level, with external temperature of -58°C, internal temperature of 4°C, 1 KPA atmospheric pressure, and it was still working perfectly after it came back, said the company.

Redmi Note 7 Pro 6GB + 128GB version in Nebula Red and Space Black to go on sale in India from May 1st

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone in India in February. The 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version priced at Rs. 13,999 went on sale starting from March 13, and the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version went on sale from April 10th on at Rs. 16,999, but it was only available in Neptune Blue version. Now the company has listed both the Nebula Red and Space Black versions on Flipkart and Mi.com ahead of sale tomorrow, May 1st.
