Xiaomi’s upcoming Android One smartphones said to feature in-display fingerprint sensor, 32MP front camera
It has been close to eight months since the Mi A2, Xiaomi’s second Android One smartphone was launched. Earlier this year a report from XDA said that the company is working on its successor code-named orchid_sprout. Now a new report says that the company is working on two Android One phones codenamed ‘bamboo_sprout’ and ‘cosmos_sprout’ along with another phone codenamed ‘pyxis’ which should be the Chinese version of one of these phones.

Xiaomi posts 52.6% YoY increase in revenue in FY 2018, smartphone revenue up 41.3% YoY
Xiaomi has reported its earning for the fourth quarter (Q4 2018) and the whole financial year of 2018 that ended December 31, 2018. It reported revenue of 174.9 billion yuan (US$ 26.05 billion) for FY 2018, an increase of 52.6% compared to FY 2017, among which international revenue grew 118.1% year-on-year to 70.0 billion yuan, accounting for 40% of its total revenue. Net profit for year 2018 was approximately 13.478 billion yuan. Adjusted net profit (Non-IFRS Measure) was 8.6 billion yuan, up 59.5% YoY. Xiaomi launches Mi Pay mobile payment solution in India
Xiaomi has officially launched Mi Pay, the company’s latest mobile payment solution in India, after it was introduced back in December last year. Mi Pay is supported by ICICI Bank, has a basic UI and it requires Phone, Contacts and SMS permissions to run. Users have an option to transfer money to UPI address and Bank Account directly.
