Bond 007 handset by Sony Ericsson

It is not such a good looking handset and quite frankly, we are not sure james Bond would be pleased either!

But what can he do when Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures/Columbia Pictures release of EON Productions’ 22nd James Bond adventure, Quantum Of Solace, has signed an exclusive partnership with Sony Ericsson.

The C902 Cyber shot Titanium silver edition is the new Bond 007 handset. The phone is used throughout the film by James Bond to capture evidence and assist the agent on his mission. In the last movie, Bond played by actor Daniel Craig was seen using Motorola.

Sony Ericsson W902 5 Megapixel camera walkman phone

Sony Ericsson is pepping up its music phones with the introduction of W902.

The model boasts of autofocus camera, image stabilization for both photos & videos, as well as picture and video blogging and Sony Ericsson’s BestPic technology. It supports Google maps and can geotag the photos after being captured in the phone. Having 8GB Memory Stick Micro (M2) card and the high-end HPM-77 wired headphones this Walkman music player is on-board for a full music experience. Spice Mobiles may be taken over by Sony Ericsson

Looks like it is still a rumour although meetings between the two companies are underway even as we report this.

Spice Mobiles is possibly going to be incorporated into Sony Ericsson.

Feature rich Spice handsets incorporated into high-end Sony Ericsson could only mean that the entry level market for handsets will improve. Buyers of entry level phones will largely benefit from this alliance.

Sony Ericsson post poor profits amidst crisis

Its a lonely world. Motorola was really feeling lonely, as Samsung, LG were reporting better profits while its prospects were hitting the floor. Feel no more. Sony Ericsson has finally heeled to its pathetic designs.

Mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson is reporting a steep 97 percent drop in second-quarter earnings as tougher market conditions hurt its sales.

Windows Mobile – In trouble?

Recent acquisition of Symbian has created quite a stir in the ever increasing market of Mobile Operating Systems. Symbian OS accounts for 60 percent of the converged mobile device segment, but has been loosing share lately. This has been largely to Windows Mobile and Linux.

Symbian has largely been controlled by Nokia. And it seems pretty odd, other phone manufacturer’s paying large sum of money going into the hands of a competitor.But this will all change with the Symbian foundation. How much? Only time will tell.

Sony Ericsson F305 – The new game machine

The success of Playstation, and more recently PlayStation Portable (PSP) is well known. For a long time, Sony let the rumours float around of its work on a PSP phone.

The wait is over. What we get is a new line of Gaming Phones from Sony stable. Sony Ericcson F305 was announced on June 17th in Singapore. And comes a new era in the field of Mobile gaming.

What we get is a mobile phone, which not only has Playstation-kind-of dedicated keys for serious gamers, but also puts Sony in the big league of Motion Detection technology. The phone features advanced sensor detection, just like Nintendo Wii gaming console.

F305 includes all what is expected of a mobile phone. 2.0 megapixel camera, stereo speakers, memory stick and EDGE. Why has it not been equipped with 3G or wifi capabilities for multiplayer gaming is still a debatable topic, but we neverthless get a decent gaming machine. Sony Ericsson Xperia got a tad sexier

Well news is there from Sony Ericsson Blog that The yet to release Ultimato Mobile Monster the EVERYTHING inside me mobile phone The Sony Ericsson XPeria just got a tad sexier and a new variant in just the color ofcourse. The X1’s official site has dropped a few shots of the handset in a second color called Steel Silver that show a new XPERIA panel key and some new branding below the screen. Well it does look hot and who wouldnt love to have two color variants of the device.

Sony Ercisson Xperia X1 likely by mid Sep 08

Well its one of the phones in the entire history of mobile phones that has garnered enough rumors and pre release hype like a RajniKant movie. First it was slated to have windows 6.1 then they said no. they finally it was confirmed that it will be the first mobile device to carry windows 6.1. Then several rumors about its release date. While brushing aside all of them is another rumor (hopefully not). A press hand out from handango.com says that the xperia is likely to be launched in mid Sep’08.

Well that’s pretty justified to wait for such a device that’s got everything from a whopping 3” inch screen awesome touch screen gps wifi Bluetooth a2dp etc..

Well here is hoping it’s not a rumor this time at least.

Sony Ericsson launches C702 and C902 Cyber-shot

While Sony Ericsson recently appointed Maria Sharapova as its global brand ambassador, it got tennis sensations Anastasia Rodionova (4th seed), Yaroslava Shevdova and Patty Schnyder to launch the Sony Ericsson C702 and C902 at the Sony Ericsson sponsored WTA Tour at Bangalore.

Sony Ericsson launches Neat and Tidy T303
