Sony Ericsson ropes in Maria Sharapova

Sony Ericsson is on a high. After the launch of several new phones at the CES 2008, Sony Ericsson has added another feather in its cap and kept itself in news.
The Mobile phone company has signed on the Russian Tennis Star, Maria Sharapova as its FIRST global brand ambassador for a four year period.
As global brand ambassador, Ms Sharapova will be endorsing Sony Ericsson products and will also be involved with the design team at Sony Ericsson for a new range of products and accessories.
At the Press Conference Ms Sharapova said, “It is really exciting to be working with a cool brand like Sony Ericsson which has such a strong reputation in the entertainment industry.”
As mobile enthusiasts we can look forward to stylish and innovative accessories and handsets from the company. Just one suggestion, Ms Sharapova, please don’t make it PINK!!!
