Samsung’s new Gear VR and controller will go on sale on April 21, priced at $129
Samsung announced its first Gear VR headset with controller powered by Oculus at its Mobile World Congress press conference in Barcelona. Today, at its Galaxy S8 unpacked event, the company has announced the pricing and the availability details of the product.

Samsung just announced Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones at its New York event. Both the phones have Infinity Display – an end-to-end, bezel-less screen that extends to the phone’s sides. S8 comes with a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ screen and the S8+ comes with a 6.2-inch Quad HD+ screen, both with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and the back. Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ get certified ahead of announcement, confirms 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version
Samsung is all set to unveil its flagship Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones in a few hours at its Galaxy Unpacked 2017 event in New York. Now the smartphone has been certified in by TENAA in China. This confirms the existence of the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version. According to earlier rumors, this will only be available in China and South Korea, while the 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage will be released in Europe, North America and other regions.
Samsung Galaxy Note7 will be recycled and sold as refurbished or rental phones
After reports, Samsung has confirmed that it will sell returned Galaxy Note7 devices outside US as refurbished phones or rental phones where applicable. Samsung Pay launched in India officially, has Paytm and UPI integration
After taking registrations for early access a few weeks back, Samsung today officially launched Samsung Pay mobile payments service in India. It has partnered with Visa, MasterCard and American Express, who act as gateways. It currently supports Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, SBI Cards and Standard Chartered Bank cards, and will soon support Citibank India.

Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ latest press images show glass back with fingerprint sensor
Recently more images of upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ surfaced showing the smartphones in three colors. Now we have couple more press shots that finally show glass back of the phone in Black Sky and Orchid Grey colors. This time Samsung has moved the the fingerprint sensor to the back since the bezel on the front is narrow compared to Galaxy S7 series. Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus press images surface in Black Sky, Orchid Grey and Arctic Silver colors
First press render of the Galaxy S8 smartphone surfaced earlier this month showing its curved screen with narrow bezels and an iris scanner. Now more press shots of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus have surfaced, thanks to @evleaks once again. These images show the phone in Black Sky, Orchid Grey and Arctic Silver colors. It also shows a metal frame and button placements, but the back side of the phone has been revealed in press shots yet. Samsung Galaxy S8 to reportedly use facial recognition for mobile payments
A latest report from Bloomberg about the Samsung Galaxy S8 states it will use facial recognition for secure mobile payment. The flagship will merge fingerprint, iris and facial detection to verify users accessing mobile services including Samsung Pay, added the report.
