9to5 Mac reports that Apple is adding support for face recognition in iOS 5.0 . The feature will be accessible via API calls by developers allowing for some very interesting applications. The site reports that one of the APIs allows for recognizing the position of the person’s eyes and mouth.

Yesterday, we posted that, Sony Ericsson has officially confirmed that, the Android 2.3 update would come this week. And now, the company has kept their promise and finally rolled out the Gingerbread update.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is the company’s most popular Android smartphone. It was originally launched with the Android 1.6 (Donut) Operating system, later it was updated to Android 2.1 (Eclair). HTC ChaCha was officially announced by HTC at MWC which features a dedicated Facebook button and a portrait QWERTY keyboard and it’s especially for people who can’t live without the world’s famous social network known as Facebook.
