MWC 2011 : Nokia WP7 Concept Previewed

Like we had already posted , Nokia’s Windows Phone 7 based concept phone renders got leaked earlier this week. Today at the Nokia event we got confirmation from Jo Harlow that these concepts were a culmination of two months of combined work by Nokia’s hardware engineers and Microsoft’s software engineers.

MWC 2011 : Nokia Event Summary

Nokia’s presence in Barcelona for MWC 2011 is subdued to say the least. Their Friday announcement regarding having Windows Phone software as their primary platform has ruffled up more than a few feathers. Nokia might launch Android phones in 2012

We earlier told you about Nokia’s CEO Stephen Elop having talk with Steve Ballmer of Microsoft and Eric Schmidt of Google. Nokia went official on their partnership with Microsoft but the source mentioned that the Android deal fell through. But according to Eldar Murtazin, Nokia is considering becoming partners with Google.

Engadget managed to get hold of a memo circulated within the company and it has some strong words from Nokia CEO Stephen Elop.
