Motorola launched the Moto X Style, the company’s high-end smartphone in the X series earlier this month. It went on sale couple of weeks back on Flipkart starting at Rs. 29,999. We brought you the review of the Moto X Style recently, here we have the battery test results of the smartphone. It has a 3000mAh built-in battery, packs a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, is powered by a Hexa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop). Check out the test results below.
The Moto X Style from Motorola is the flagship product in the X series from Motorola this year. While the Moto X Play came out earlier last month, the X Style went official in India this month. It is basically a high-end smartphone that has a design that is quite similar to the Moto X Play but has much more beefed up specifications and features. We had reviewed the Moto X Play and we found that it is a really good smartphone and that it is one of the best in its price segment. Motorola has announced the most expected DROID Turbo 2 smartphone along with the DROID Maxx 2. The DROID Turbo 2 is an enhanced version of the Moto X Style that packs a slightly smaller 5.4-inch Quad HD AMOLED 540 ppi display. It also has Moto ShatterShield, the world’s first shatterproof display. Motorola says that the display is guaranteed not to crack or shatter for up to 4 years. It packs a Snapdragon 810 processor, runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) and is upgradable to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 3760mAh battery, slightly bigger than the Moto X Style and has the same front and rear cameras. The DROID Maxx 2 is a variant of Moto X Play. Motorola launched the Moto G (2nd Gen) in India last year at a price tag of Rs. 12,999, which currently retails for Rs. 9,999 after several price cut. Today the company has launched the 4G version of the smartphone called the Moto G (2nd Gen) 4G. It comes with similar specifications as the 3G version, including a 5-inch HD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, dual front-facing speakers and Dual SIM support, but this has a 2390mAh battery in addition to 4G connectivity with support for 4G bands for India. Google announced at its event earlier this week that it will roll out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for Nexus devices starting from next week. HTC already confirmed list of 12 devices that will get the update, Motorola just announced the list of smartphones that will get the Android 6.0 update first.
