Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime with Quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 CPU announced

Asus has announced their Eee Pad Transformer Prime Android tablet with Quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and 10.1-inch LED backlit display that offers 178-degree viewing angle and has a maximum brightness of 600 nits. The tablet is powered by Quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and runs on Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) with an update to Ice Cream Sandwich expected soon. It is 8.3mm thick and comes with a mini-HDMI output, microSD slot. The keyboard dock has Multi-touch pad, SD Card reader and a USB port. ASUS EeePad Transformer To Get Android 3.2 Update Tomorrow

ASUS recently tweeted that, the Android 3.2 update for this tablet will be rolled out from tomorrow. This update expected to come with compatability zoom for phone apps, support for microSD loading and other tablet-based optimizations.

Garmin-Asus Launches A10 In India

Garmin , one of the most popular GPS Navigation system manufacturers in the world, has teamed up with Asus to bring several cellphones with top-notch GPS performance. Their latest model , the A10 , is now being released in India. It runs on the Android 2.1 OS. The phone is upgradeable to Froyo ie Android 2.2 and will get an update soon.

ASUS Windows Phone 7 device leaked in Pakistan

The first screenshot of the upcoming Windows Phone 7 phone, manufactured by ASUS is leaked in Pakistan, by @Shaistajafri over at Twitter earlier today. Not enough information about the phone, but as we can see in the image above that it’s a very beautiful phone. It’s a prototype version, because you can see some number on the top of the phone. The brushed metal button panel is very pretty , which includes a search, back, and a Windows buttons. It looks like the phone got a front facing camera on the upper right hand side (or a proximity sensor). Well, time will tell us that soon.
