Asus has started sending out invitations for the launch event of the PadFone 2, successor of the PadFone. It is scheduled for October 16th that would take place simultaneously in Milan and Taipei. The AnTuTu benchmarks of the PadFone 2 have been reportedly leaked that reveals that the PadFone 2 would be powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 APQ8064 processor with Adreno 320 GPU and come with a 2GB of RAM. It would run on Android 4.0 similar to the PadFone.

The first PadFone was originally unveild last year, but they detailed the specs only at the MWC 2012. Asus launched the PadFone in India earlier this week at a price tag of Rs. 64999. Hope Asus don’t make much changes and launch the PadFone 2 by this year.
