Lava launched the Iris Pro 20, the latest smartphone in the Iris Pro series yesterday. Lava Iris 450 COLOUR surfaced recently without any specifications. Now the complete specifications of the smartphone has appeared on the website. It comes with a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Twitter acquires Android Lockscreen app maker Cover

Twitter has acquired Cover, creators of Android lockscreen app Cover Lock Screen. The app was launched back in October last year and still remains in beta. It lets you set number of lockscreens for different context such as home, in the car, at work, and when you’re out that changes depending on time or location. The company has added a lot of features since it launch. It recently updated the app with boost and drop apps by long-pressing on individual app icons and improvements. Samsung has finally announced the Galaxy Ace Style that surfaced online recently. It has a  4-inch (800 × 480 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with new Touchwiz UI. It comes with a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. Samsung SM-T800 specifications leaked – 10.5inch AMOLED tablet

Samsung is long said to be working on a AMOLED display tablet and there hasn’t been an official announcement yet. There have been rumors about a 7inch AMOLED display in the works, but now, SamMobile has posted about the specifications of a 10.5inch AMOLED display tablet from Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo (GT-I9300I) dual SIM smartphone that appeared on official website last week, is now available in India from online retailer Snapdeal. It has a 4.8-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). Unlike the Galaxy S3 Neo+ with 1.4 GHz quad-core processor for China, the Galaxy S3 Neo has a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. Xolo Q1010i, successor of the Xolo Q1010 has been listed on the official Xolo website. The ‘i’ in the name indicates a better camera. The Q1010i has a 8-megapixel Sony Exmor R sensor with f/2.0 aperture, 1.4 micron pixel size and a 5-element lens. Other features are similar including a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display based on One-glass-Solution (OGS) technology, 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor and Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Dell introduced Venue 7 and Venue 8 Android tablets powered by a dual-core Intel Atom Clover Trail+ processors along with the Venue 8 and Venue 11 Pro Windows 8.1 tablets powered by quad-core Intel Atom Bay Trail processor last year. Both the Venue 7 and Venue 8 tablets were launched in India earlier this year. We had already reviewed the Venue 8 Pro Windows Tablet even before it launched in India. Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom rumors started earlier this month and an alleged image of the S5 zoom appeared earlier today. Sammobile has posted the complete specifications of the smartphone that reveals that the S5 Zoom would have a 20.2-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, 4.4-44mm lens with 10x optical zoom, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Xenon Flash.

Samsung SM-G906S with 5.2-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) display, Snapdragon 805 spotted in Benchmarks

Samsung SM-G906S, an unknown devices with a 5.2-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display has appeared on GFXBench. Samsung SM-G900S with a similar Quad HD display appeared on GFXBench back in December 2013, but Samsung did not release the phone. The SM-G900S had a Snapdragon 800 processor, but the SM-G906S would have a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor with Adreno 420 GPU. It runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat). Google adds new “People” section in Play Store, shows you what others are downloading

Google has just added another feature to its Play Store. This time, it doesn’t have anything to do with the apps or the way your apps update. But, it brings a little social interest to your Play Store. You now get a “People” tab in the side navigation bar and when you choose it, you get a list of what other people are downloading.
