OnePlus has started rolling out Cyanogen OS 12 update based on Android 5.0.2 (Lollipop) last week. The company’s director Carl Pei recently said that the company has paused the roll out to add Ok OnePlus feature, today it started rolling out a new update, YNG1TAS17L that adds this feature along with improvements and security enhancements. Lenovo A5000, the latest smartphone in the A series is now available in India through retail stores, according to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom. Facebook Creative Labs has launched Hello for Android, a new Caller ID app that shows you who’s calling you, even if you have not saved the person’s number in your phone.The app also lets you block unwanted calls that go straight to voicemail, which can be reviewed in your recent calls. This directly competes with Truecaller that offers the same caller ID and blocking features. Since the Hello app has Facebook integration, it offers latest info about your contacts and lets you search for people and businesses on Facebook and call them easily. Lenovo launched the A6000 Plus smartphone in India at Rs. 7,499. Today the company has announced that 100,000 units of the A6000 Plus will be available in the first flash sale on April 28th. Registrations for the sale started on the launch day, April 17th and closes on 27th April 11:59 PM. Lenovo sold 3 lakh units of A6000 smartphones in India in 3 months before it was temporarily discontinued. In-line with Android Wear firmware update announcement on Monday, Google on Tuesday started pushing out an updated Android Wear companion app (v1.1) to users, which brings support for multiple Android Wear watches, and list of new features along with major visual and functional improvements.

Gionee has launched Pioneer P4S, the company’s latest smartphone in the Pioneer series. It has a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It packs a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
