Chinese smartphone maker ZOPO recently announced that it will foray into the Indian smartphone market on August 26th with the launch of its flagship Speed 7 smartphone in the country. It already announced it has appointed Advantage Computers India Pvt. Ltd. (ADCOM) as Indian distributor and its smartphones will be sold exclusively through an online retailer and also through offline stores in India.

Oppo introduced the R7 Plus, along with the R7 in China back in May. It was launched on August 18th in Southeast Asian markets. To remind you, the Oppo R7 Plus features a 6-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display, is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and runs on Color OS 2.1 based on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). A latest leak from @evleaks about the BlackBerry Venice, an upcoming Android Slider phone from the company, has surfaced offering more details regarding the phone. The first Android phone from the company will come with a slide out QWERTY keyboard.
Apparently Motorola is planning to launch not one but two new handsets on Verizon this year. They are expected to be the DROID Maxx 2 and the DROID Turbo 2. The former is expected to be a mid-range device that is said to be a rebranded version of the Moto X Play.

LG has announced LG G Pad II 10.1, the company’s latest Android tablet and the successor of last year’s G Pad 10.1 ahead of IFA 2015. It has a 10.1-inch (1920 x 1200) WUXGA display and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop). LG has decided to go with the old Snapdragon 800 SoC for the tablet. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera without flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes in both WiFi and 4G variants.
