The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom was officially unveiled and launched recently at an event in London. We had went hands on with the device earlier and even unboxed it to show you the first glimpse of what this hybrid device is all about. And yes, as you guessed right, the device is all about the camera. We took it for a spin and shot a lot of camera samples. How did it fare in every situation possible? Read on to find out.
It is no secret that Samsung will have a next generation Note out later this year. The Galaxy Note 3 as it will most likely be known is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor. The phone will also be amongst the first to pack 3GB of RAM if a report published in the Korea Economic Daily is to be believed. Other rumored specifications for the phone range from the obvious to rather outlandish. While it is almost certain that the handset will run on Android 4.3, we’re not too sure that it will pack a flexible display. American cellular operator, Sprint, announced that it will be carrying a new Windows Phone running smartphone called the Samsung ATIV S Neo. The new handset will sport some rather interesting features including what is being called as ATIV Beam. Amidst tough competition from various home brands like Karbonn, Micromax and Lava, Samsung has finally snatched the no.1 spot from Nokia as the leader in overall mobile shipments. The market in India is currently highly saturated with numerous models from various homegrown manufacturers but the two stalwarts of the mobile industry have so far been the leaders when it comes to overall share. Nokia had been the no. 1 in overall shipments for a long time in India, mainly because the country was a feature phone market. But as the market has now matured, Nokia is finding it tough to adapt with its new Windows Phone strategy. The Galaxy Note 8.0 launched way back in February, at the Mobile World Congress as the first 8 inch screened device in the Galaxy Note series. The surprising addition was that the cellular edition of the device could make calls and lets you use it like a phone thanks to the on-device ear piece. It was extremely awkward to see people holding a huge device to their face but worry not, we have got the 16 GB WiFi only version for review here and we are going to see whether the Note 8.0 is really worth your money. Samsung is in talks with several carriers to introduce its LTE-Advanced version of the Samsung Galaxy S4. LTE Advanced 4G is an upgrade from the conventional LTE networks deployed currently and offers a data transmission speed at up to double the speeds of standard 4G networks.

Samsung’s JK Shin today hinted that the company might be ready to announce an Android powered mirrorless camera soon and right on cue, press images have turned up for the device. The images that first shower up on a Vietnamese gadget site depict the Galaxy NX which has interchangeable lenses and an Android device tacked on at the back.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 inch was just announced yesterday along with the Galaxy Tab 3 8 inch version. One of the main takeaways from the announcement is the presence of an Intel chip inside the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 inch version. Intel was particularly proud of the fact and boasted about its first low power LTE implementation for the same, in its blog. Sporting a Intel Z2560 “CloverTrail+” chip, the device has connectivity powered by the Intel XMM7160 multi mode LTE modem in some markets.
