The LeEco Le 1s is one of the hottest smartphones around the Rs 10,000 mark and it packs quite an impressive spec list. We decided to teardown the device to bring to you a good look at the internals and components that make this device what it is.

This phone needs no introduction and I’m not going to bore you with a history of the Galaxy S lineup since most of you already know it. Almost everyone knows what Samsung has managed to do and the smartphone has been making the headlines for all the right reasons even before and after its announcement and subsequent release. We spent a lot of time with the flagship device from Samsung to see what they bring to the table this year. At a first glance, the smartphone looks like the biggest leap in the Galaxy S lineup since the Galaxy S II. When the Samsung first announced the Galaxy Alpha after the Galaxy S5 debacle, it seemed like the company was trying to head in a new direction. For years, it had been criticised about the build quality and plastic materials of its smartphones. The Galaxy Alpha addressed many of those issues but was over-priced and had a lot of shortcomings. Jump to March 2015 when I reviewed the Samsung Galaxy A7 right after the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge announcement and I could see Samsung’s plans falling into place. The A7 was a fresh new take on what a mid-ranger should be and showcased what Samsung is capable of achieving given the right push. Fast forward to today and now we have the second generation i.e A7 (2016) which builds on the same ideals as the original but promises to refine the smartphone and provide a premium experience in a mid-ranger smartphone like never before.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge were good devices and upgrades to the S5 in many ways. However, one feature that went missing in the pursuit for better build quality is the waterproof abilities of the Galaxy S5. Don’t get me wrong, the customers demanded and Samsung provided with better build quality and premium materials but the waterproof ability was definitely something worth having and fortunately Samsung have brought back the feature with the S7 and S7 Edge.
