Samsung Galaxy J5, J7 (2016) officially launching in India on May 9

Samsung has officially sent out press invites for the launch event in India on Monday, where the company will announce the pricing for Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) for the country.

The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) and Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) are the new selfie-focused smartphones and successors of the last year’s Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 smartphones.

These phones were first launched in China in March, and we are not expecting anything to be different here in terms of design or specifications. The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) comes in Gold, White and Pink colors.

The Galaxy J5 (2016) has a 5.2-inch HD screen and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor and the Galaxy  J7 (2016) has a 5.5-inch 1080p screen and is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 processor. Both the Galaxy smartphones have a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for capturing better selfies. These have dual-SIM support and 4G LTE connectivity as well. Check full specifications here.
