Xolo announced their Xolo Play earlier this year which was the first device by an Indian manufacturer to sport the NVidia Tegra 3 chipset. The Xolo Play was all about gaming and Xolo decided to make it bigger and hence we have the Xolo Play Tab 7.0. The Xolo Play Tab 7.0 is the Xolo Play T1000 with a larger 7inch display. In terms of specifications, it is on par with Google Nexus 7 that was released last year.

Today we unbox the Xolo Play Tab 7.0, the Tegra 3 based gaming-focused tablet that launched a while back. Xolo Play was the first phone from the Indian manufacturer to sport a decent build quality and the Tegra 3 processor. It was clearly focused at gaming and Xolo wants to take it further into the hands of tablet seekers, with the 7 inch Xolo Play Tab. Xolo Play Tab 7.0 with 7-inch HD display and Tegra 3 processor launched for Rs. 12999
Xolo has launched the Play Tab 7.0, the company’s latest tablet in the Play series as we reported last month. It has a 7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) multi-touch IPS display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor with ULP GeForce GPUand runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and packs a 4000 mAh battery. Xolo launched the Xolo Tab last month powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 and voice calling, but this lacks 3G support or voice calling.
