ARCHOS to come out with DECT home phone running Android

A weird looking ARCHOS device passed through FCC a few days it took me a few days to understand what it really was. It looks like the first Smart cordless home phone which is running Android on it. For me it looks like a cordless phone married an Android smartphone.

Nokia 701/ RM-774 gets certified by the FCC

FCC certifications for the upcoming Nokia 701 have been spotted by the guys at Engadget. This combined with the previous UA Profile leak confirm the existence of the device. Considering that FCC approval is the last step before being available in the market , it seems the phone will be announced quite soon.

HTC Sensation hits FCC with AT&T 3G bands, coming soon?

Nokia N9 / RM-680 Passes FCC Tests , Coming Soon ?

The long awaited MeeGo smartphone by Nokia might finally be making its way to consumers soon. FCC documents reveal that the device has undergone testing and packs in quad band GSM and penta band 3G support like the recent Symbian 3 devices. The device bears an uncanny resemblance to the previously leaked design. There were rumors around the internet that the design had been ditched for an all new fully touch based phone but the FCC images say otherwise.

Nokia’s First EV-DO Phone Slips Out Of FCC

The FCC today cleared Nokia’s first handset entry into the EV-DO market. The 6305i is a slider-style phone with a 1.3 Megapixel camera, stereo speakers but does not appear to have advanced features like Bluetooth or even a memory card slot.

The FCC today cleared Nokia’s first handset entry into the EV-DO market. The 6305i is a slider-style phone with a 1.3 Megapixel camera, stereo speakers but does not appear to have advanced features like Bluetooth or even a memory card slot. Although the 6305i bears the Nokia logo it is made by SK Teletech – the first product of a manufacturing agreement announced in March. Further separating the 6305i from other Nokias, it will use Verizon’s proprietary menus and interface instead of Nokia Series 40.
