The FCC today cleared Nokia’s first handset entry into the EV-DO market. The 6305i is a slider-style phone with a 1.3 Megapixel camera, stereo speakers but does not appear to have advanced features like Bluetooth or even a memory card slot. Although the 6305i bears the Nokia logo it is made by SK Teletech – the first product of a manufacturing agreement announced in March. Further separating the 6305i from other Nokias, it will use Verizon’s proprietary menus and interface instead of Nokia Series 40.
