Rumor: Samsung Galaxy S receiving Android 2.2 in August, but only in S.Korea

Samsung Galaxy S is one of the most successful devices of Samsung this year , they recently launched the smartphone in South Korea and they sold more than 200,000 in just 10 days, that’s a big achievement. People who bought the Galaxy S in S.Korea are very happy, and they are waiting for only one thing which is missing in Galaxy S, the Android 2.2. Samsung Hub is reporting that Android 2.2 for South Korean Galaxy S is set to release in early August, which is more than a good news for S.Korean folks. August is around the corner so S.Koreans start waiting.

And if you don’t want to buy the phone with contract, then you can get it for $499.99 without contract. You will receive you Samsung Vibrant on July 21st.

TweetUp recently announced that it had acquired Twidroid, the most popular Twitter client for Android. This app will be preloaded on millions of upcoming Android phones from five of the leading handset manufacturers.

TweetUp Inc, recently announced that it had acquired Twidroid, the most popular and highest-rated Twitter client for Android phones. The company further announced that the application will be renamed as Twidroyd in order to ensure minimal confusion with the product from other company which owns the trademark of the term “Droid”. Samsung Beam launching in Singapore

We saw the Samsung Beam, the first Android phone with built in DLP Pico Projector at MWC a few months ago. Samsung has announced the first country to receive the Samsung Beam is Singapore. The Samsung Beam will be available in Singapore via StarHub starting July 17. Samsung Beam is a very good phone, which comes with very good features. T-Mobile second half roadmap leaked !

Folks over at AndroidSPIN got their hands on the unofficial T-Mobile roadmap, which shows a lot of new device making their way to T-Mobile. Well, not to much details on it because the picture is blurry. We can clearly see that T-Mobile is planning to launch 5 new Android devices, 2 from Motorola , 2 from HTC, and one from LG.
