Update: January 5, 2021 – Xiaomi has started rolling out new V12.0.3.0.RFQMIXM build, and users report that it doesn’t have any issues.
After several rumours Xiaomi has confirmed that it will introduce Redmi Note 9T, the company’s latest budget 5G smartphone globally on January 8th. The pone received certifications and also surfaced on Geekbench recently revealing some specifications.
Xiaomi spun-off POCO as an independent brand earlier this year. POCO X2 was the company’s first device as a separate independent entity. Soon after the launch, POCO India confirmed that the smartphone will receive Android 11 update, but the POCO X2 users are yet to receive the first Android platform upgrade.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi 7 smartphone in India last year running MIUI 10.2 Global Stable on top of Android 9.0 (Pie). Xiaomi doesn’t follow any fixed update frequency for the MIUI Global Stable ROM but on average, the Global Stable ROM is updated once in 30-60 days.
