India WiFi networks to soon get enough attention as 4G: OpenSignal

According to OpenSignal, the Indian Government is said to be increasingly making a shift towards public WiFi hotspots. It is planning to provide coverage to around 250,000 Panchayats and 5000 railway stations within the next two years. This makes sense considering the smartphone penetration growing in the country.

Reliance Jio offers 1.5GB additional data per day for all users till June 30

Earlier this year Reliance Jio revised some of its plans to offer more data. Today, to counter Airtel’s 1GB/day additional data on Rs. 149 and Rs. 399 packs, Reliance Jio is offering 1.5GB/day additional data for all daily recurring recharges in the month of June.
