The N97 mini is launching in India finally today after a delay. It was expected to be out in October. I know many of you might be disappointed with Nokia’s Diwali Lineup as both the N97mini and 5530 were missing. We really like the build quality of the mini as it has a metallic feel and the kinetic scrolling is pretty good in this device and getting a lot of attention since it launched at NokiaWorld

It has been reported that an Australian programmer under the codename of lkee wrote a virus (worm) for the Apple iPhone specially the one that had been jailbroken.

There are so many mobile platforms out there – Symbian , Android, iPhone , Blackberry , Windows Mobile , Palm , Maemo and now Bada. The handset market which was once dominated by Symbian and WinMo now has fierce competition from iPhone and Blackberry. Android is growing fast too. Maemo was was never destined to be used in a phone until the Nokia N900. Palm was almost out of the radar until the Palm Pre which came with the WebOS platform. But which is the best ? The E71 is a great phone from Nokia and its been around for more than a year now and doing really well in terms of sales worldwide. for the users who complained about the price of the E71 . Nokia launched the E63 which packs a 3.5 mm port which even the E71 lacks. The Fujitsu F-08A works 1.5m under water and it clicks pics too . At the Fujitsu booth at Symbian Exchange last month, i saw this cool phone dipped inside a bowl of water. Its got a 5MP Camera , GSM/3G Network support, NFC,GPS , MobileTV and a Music player. I just put the camera in self timer mode and wanted to see if the camera worked fine. ( and the handset runs Symbian )
