Samsung announces Galaxy Note

Samsung has announced the Galaxy Note with the 5.3 inch HD Super AMOLED display, the largest display on any phone till date. It runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and features 1.4GHz dual-core processor. It has advanced pen-input technology, called the S Pen that provides uniquely accurate level of control and finesse that could be used for sketching and artwork. Samsung Galaxy Note Specs – 5.3 inch display and 1.4 GHz Dual Core CPU !



Samsung just sent a chill down our spine by launching the Samsung Galaxy Note- an Android Phone with a 5.3 inch display ! If you thought the Galaxy S2 had a big display ? Get ready for a bigger display. I’m not sure how many of us can grip a 5.3 inch phone in one hand ! The specs seem pretty impressive with a 1.4 GHz Dual Core Processor , 5.3 inch HD SuperAMOLED Plus display (1280×960 pixels resolution) and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread.  There is a 8MP camera on the back and a 2MP camera on the front. It weighs 100grams and  is 12.3mm thick. And it comes with a pen called S Pen so that you can scribble on the mini football ground in your hands ! Samsung has announced their new Galaxy Tab 7.7 with 7.7 inch Super AMOLED Plus Display that is vivid and offers wider range of colors with greater separation between light and dark colors. This Galaxy Tab 7.7 runs on Android Honeycomb version 3.2 and features 1.4GHz Dual Core processor. It is just 7.89mm thin and weighs only 335 grams. Estimated delivery time is 5 days . The MRP of this device is Rs.36200. Flipkart also promises a free sling bag along with the order.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 Revealed in Photos

The folks at SammyHub have posted the first photos of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 which seems like a 7.7 inch Android  Honeycomb tablet. From what we can see , it runs on Android Honeycomb , sports a 7.7 inch display with no physical menu keys and includes a 3.5 mm audio jack on the top. MTS launches world’s first CDMA EV-DO Rev.B Phase II network in India

 

MTS brings the world’s first CDMA EV-DO Rev.B Phase II network to India. Compared to EV-DO Rev.B Phase I, the Phase II technology offers high speed rate as high as 4.9 Mbps in single frequency carrier and 9.8 Mbps in two frequency carrier bundle. They have also launched MBlaze Ultra dongle that provides data download speeds of 9.8 Mbps. ZTE won the commercial contract from MTS earlier this May. This has been upgraded from their previous Xperia arc and they claim that this has 25% faster camera start up and 20% faster web page rendering compared to Xperia arc.
