Just got off my flight from India to Frankfurt as I head to Orlando for BlackBerry World which is Research In Motion’s annual event to showcase it’s latest offerings. Until last year it was called WES and now it has been merged into BlackBerry World. Lets see what RIM has got to show at the event !

Verizon finally launching HTC Trophy on May 12th?

Windows Phone 7 was introduced by Microsoft last year, which is actually a successor to Windows Mobile 6.5. The OS is gradually growing and giving other operating systems are hard time. Big companies like Samsung, HTC and LG are offering WP7 devices, and Nokia will also launch WP7 powered devices soon. At the moment, HTC is leading the race and they are offering several WP7 devices. HP Veer 4G leaked for AT&T, hitting next month?

HP officially announced the HP Veer at Mobile World Congress which is the smallest WebOS phone and the size of the phone is almost equal to a size of credit card. The phone is small but it comes with a power of smartphones. A few days ago, we told you that AT&T will be launching the HP Veer in USA soon and it looks like the rumor was legit because our friends over at PocketNow got their hands on a press image of HP Veer running on AT&T network. Blackberry Bold Touch appears on RIM’s site

RIM has accidentally revealed the details of Blackberry Bold Touch on their official site ahead the launch of the device in Blackberry World next week. The phone is just called Blackberry Bold which was Previously known as Blackberry Bold Touch Dakota. This comes with the new Blackberry 7 OS, Fluid Graphic touch screen and a QWERTY keyboard. Motorola Droid 3 leaked again, comes with bigger display

Last month, we saw the first leaked shots of Motorola Droid 3 which is actually a successor to the famous Droid series. Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi officially announced by Sprint, coming out next week

We told you last month that Sprint will be launching the first ever Honeycomb tablet known as Motorola XOOM, and at the moment it’s available at Verizon Wireless and several retailers in USA. Today, Sprint officially announced the Motorola XOOM which is coming out on May 8th for $599. Only bad news is that the tablet is neither 3G nor 4G, it’s Wi-Fi only tablet. Back at MWC, Samsung officially announced the Samsung Galaxy S II which is a successor to Galaxy S. They recently launched the device in Korea and it’s going to hit several other countries next week. Nokia Siemens Networks completes acquistion of Motorola Solutions

Nokia today announced that Nokia Siemens Networks has finally completed the acquisition of Motorola Solutions after winning approval from Chinese regulators last week.The deal which was first announced in July 2010 had run into a lot of roadblocks and looks like Motorola has reduced the price of deal from $1.2 billion to $975 million

Android 2.3.4 update brings Gtalk Video Chat for Nexus S

Good news for Nexus S users. Google has started rolling out Android 2.3.4 for Google Nexus S phones that lets users do Video chat on Gtalk via 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi. You can video chat with other friends if they have compatible phone or PC with Gtalk. This update also includes some bug fixes and optimizations.

Idea reaches 1 million 3G users in the first month


Idea Cellular that launched 3G services in India at the end of last month reaches 1 million 3G subscribers in 1 month. They launched their 3G services in Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh last month, later it was launched in UP East, UP West, Maharashtra & Goa and recently launched their 3G services in Kerala.
