Nokia announced the Belle FP1 update last month that brings Dolby Headphone and Dolby Digital Plus support, 20 new home screen widgets and refreshed multitasking bar. Nokia just revealed via a Youtube clip that the upcoming Windows Phone based handset, the Lumia 610 will include support for NFC. The information was leaked via a Youtube video which has now been set to private mode.

Nokia has confirmed a software issue in the Lumia 900 that results in loss of data connectivity for the AT&T customers. Nokia says this is due to memory management issue that would be fixed by a software update and not due to a the phone hardware or the network. As the Airtel 4G website went live few hours ago , the tariffs have also appeared on the site. The plans start from Rs.999 for 6GB of data and the top-end plan is Rs.1999 for 18GB of data. There is also a plan for Rs.1399 which gives you 9GB of free usage. Initially , these plans will be available only over USB modems and will be available on both Prepaid and Postpaid. After you cross the free data quota , your speed will be throttled to 128 Kbps as per Fair Usage Policy.

When Airtel was telling us about 4G launch plans , you might have thought they were kidding as we are still getting used to 3G. But the Airtel 4G website just went live. The 4G LTE networks promises speeds up to 40Mbps. The network uses 4G LTE-TDD technology which supports speeds up to 100 Mbps.Initially access will be based on a 4G USB Modem and then a 4G LTE Indoor Wireless Gateway option would be available. Tariffs look attractive for most users but not for heavy downloaders with plans starting at Rs.999 per month for 6GB and Rs.1999 for 18GB. According to the website the plans will be available both on prepaid and postpaid. You will need a new number for airtel 4G LTE which will be using an USIM module.
