Google has announced the release of a new, Japan-exclusive color variant for the Pixel 10a: Isai Blue, after the phone was introduced in Lavender, Berry, Fog and Obsidian colors. Launching alongside the 10th anniversary of the Google Pixel line, this special edition was created in collaboration with Heralbony, a company focused on highlighting diverse personalities and artistic expressions.
The release integrates exclusive hardware colors, custom accessories, and specialized software themes designed by Heralbony artists.
The “Isai Blue” Concept
![]()
The term “Isai” translates to unique and unparalleled individuality. The specific shade of blue was chosen to align with Heralbony’s corporate color and its mission to “Unleash your unique brilliance.” While standard Google Pixel colors typically draw direct inspiration from physical elements in nature—such as Lavender, Fog, and Jade—the Isai Blue variant is designed around the conceptual motif of individuality and the appreciation of differences.
Software Integration with Material You
The Pixel 10a Isai Blue utilizes Google’s Material You feature to extend the artistic collaboration to the phone’s software. The device includes exclusive design editions featuring the work of three Heralbony artists:
- Shigaku Mizukami Edition
- Midori Kudo Edition
- Kaoru Iga Edition
Users can choose from nine custom wallpaper designs. Upon selection, the device’s app icons automatically adjust their styling and color palettes to match the applied artwork.
Physical Customization and Accessories

To allow for exterior personalization, the device includes a set of original stickers designed by artist Nozomi Fujita. The stickers feature custom letters and motifs inspired by the Google Pixel.
To protect the device without obscuring the exclusive blue finish or applied stickers, the package includes a color-matched bumper case. This frame-style case covers only the sides of the smartphone. The Pixel 10a features improved front-glass durability compared to the Pixel 9a, as well as a minimalist, completely flat rear camera design that eliminates protrusions to help improve scratch and drop resistance.
Exclusive Packaging
The collaborative design extends to the product packaging. The box sleeve features distinct artwork by Midori Kudo, providing a visual introduction to the partnership between Google Pixel and Heralbony before the device is even unboxed.
Pricing and availability
The Google Pixel 10a Isai Blue edition is priced at 94,900 yen (USD 593 / Rs. 55,605 approx.) for the single 256GB version, is now available to pre-order and will go on sale in Japan starting from May 20th.
