As part of its rebranding and simplification efforts, Microsoft plans to rename Windows Phone Marketplace to Windows Phone Store on its smartphones. The new branding is expected to be rolled out with Windows Phone 7.8 on current devices and with Windows Phone 8 on next gen smartphones.

LG has announced that the QuickMemo feature would be available for its entire line of Optimus L-Series smartphones, the Optimus L7, L5 and L3 through a maintenance release upgrade. It is available in certain regions including India on the Optimus L5 and the Optimus L7 that runs on ICS with the Optimus UI 3.0 that launched recently, and would be available globally by the end of 3rd quarter.
