Samsung Galaxy Music and Galaxy Music Duos with Dual Stereo Speakers, Android 4.0 announced

Samsung has announced the Galaxy Music. It has dual stereo speakers at the front for better audio and has advanced audio features such as Sound Alive & SRS. It has a 3-inch (240×320) display and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It is powered by a 850 MHz processor. There is a 3 Megapixel Fixed-focus camera at the back and it has a 3.5mm audio Jack and Built in FM Antenna. It has a dedicated music key to launch the music player easily. Rumor: The HTC DLX will be the first 1080p smartphone on the market

Twitter user @Football4PDA has leaked several devices in the past, such as the HTC One X+, and he’s proven to be a reliable source of information. His latest tweet says HTC is going to announce a new phone called DLX. It’s highlight feature will be a 5 inch 1080p display. Under the hood there’s supposed to be a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4, and on the back of the device there should be a 12 megapixel camera. MTS launches MTag 353 Android Smartphone for Rs. 5999

MTS has launched their new Android Smartphone MTag 353. It is powered by a 800 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 Processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), similar to the MTag 351, MTag 352 and MTag 281 that was launched in August. Leak: Alcatel’s first Windows Phone handset, allegedly runs WP 7.8

Windows Phone 8 is set to officially launch on October 29th. Every Windows Phone that’s currently on the market will sadly not be able to upgrade to the new version of the OS, but Microsoft doesn’t want to alienate those people, so they’re going to launch Windows Phone 7.8. Don’t be fooled though, it’s basically Windows Phone 7.5, but with the new ability to have small, medium, and large tiles. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 OTA update brings Multiscreen feature

Samsung has started rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy Note 2 that brings Multiscreen feature. This feature was supposed to come pre-loaded, but it started rolling out only through a Over the Air (OTA) update. The Multiscreen feature was first introduced in the Galaxy Note 10.1 (Note 800) that makes multitasking easy by running the apps side-by-side. LG E960 images surface, is this the next Nexus?

New images of the LG’s Nexus Smartphone LG-E960 has surfaced online. There are 2 set of pictures, one has a curved design with a rugged back, and other one has a similar design as the LG Optimus G since it has a cover on it. According to these images, both these devices run on Android 4.1.2 with the Linux 3.4 kernel and has the board name Mako. Samsung Galaxy S III Android 4.1 update starts rolling out in Korea

Samsung has started rolling out the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) update for the Galaxy S III 3G and LTE versions along with the Galaxy Note in their home ground, Korea. Samsung was the first to offer FroYo and Gingerbread update in Korea, but the Jelly Bean update for the S III started rolling out in Poland and other European countries last month. Samsung develops F2FS file system optimized for NAND storage

Samsung has been working on a solution for NAND flash optimized file systems and has submitted an open source solution to the Linux kernel. The F2FS file system or Flash Friendly File System has been designed keeping in mind the memory requirements of mobile devices. Based on a log-structured method, it tackles problems faced by file systems designed for traditional hard disk storage.

Nokia Lumia 810 headed to T-Mobile USA

T-Mobile and Nokia just announced the Lumia 810 which will be an exclusive on the network. Featuring a 4.3″ OLED WVGA Clear Black display, 8MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics and exchangeable back covers, the phone is identical to the Lumia 820 in terms of hardware but supports 4G on T-Mobile and has the carrier branding on the top-left.

Apple’s Lightning to 30-Pin Adapter Begins Shipping

Today, MacRumors reports that Apple has sent out emails notifying a number of Australian customers that their Lightning to 30-pin Adapter orders had shipped. The orders are now in transit and are expected to be deliver on October 9th, which is almost four weeks after sales of the iPhone 5 went live in September.

Apple is selling two versions of the adapter, a $29 direct plug adapter and a $39 adapter with a short cable. These adapters allow users to connect their new Lightning-enabled devices such as the iPhone 5 and forthcoming iPod touch and iPod nano models to docks and other accessories designed for the previous 30-pin dock connector.

Galaxy Note II N7100 first official firmware goes online

Galaxy Note II is surely the most powerful smartphone/phablet in the market right now. Many of the features shown by Samsung was not available in the device out of the box, but all the Note II owners will be happy to know that all those functions are included by flashing this latest firmware.
