LG has announced that they have sold more than 3 million LTE smartphones globally. The Optimus LTE global shipments crossed the 1 million mark earlier this January. Sony Mobile has announced that they would start rolling out Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update for remaining 2011 smartphones; Xperia arc, Xperia neo, Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro, Xperia pro, Xperia active and Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman starting next week. They started rolling out the update for 2011 Xperia devices in last month after it was delayed. The update started rolling out in India at the end of April for Xperia arc S, Xperia neo V and Xperia ray. The Curve 9320 was announced earlier this month and is the 3G version of the Curve 9220 that was launched in India last month. It has 2.44-inch (320×240 pixels) TFT display with a QWERTY keyboard and is powered by on 806 MHz processor. Nokia has confirmed the release date and network pricing of their new budget Lumia 610 in the UK. At a press event in London Trafalgar Hotel yesterday, the beleaguered Finnish mobile company annonced that the Windows Phone-powered phone will go on sale in the first week of June.
