We covered the launch of the LG G2 in New York just a few weeks back and and this fully loaded smartphone is about to go on sale in the US and several other markets soon. We managed to grab one just in time for a quick unboxing. The G2 is one of the first phones to be powered by the blazing fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor like the Sony XPERIA Z Ultra. LG has done away with all buttons on the front and the sides of the phone and decided to put them on the back for easy access. How do the volume keys and power button look on the back of a phone ? Find out in our unboxing video below.
- LG G2 with built in 3000 mAh battery
- AC adapter
- microUSB cable
- Quad Beat 2 earphones
The real innovation of the G2 is on the back with the volume keys and power button / lock key placed interestingly.
The display is a kick ass 5.2 inch Full HD 1080p IPS display running from edge to edge with a really small bezel and it is definitely one of the best displays we have seen on a phone recently.
Plenty of interesting features on the G2 including Optical Image Stabilization on the 13MP Camera , Audio Zoom , Tracking Zoom, Guest mode, Knock On to name a few. We are totally going to be trying all those features out over the next few days.
