Zync launches 6 Dual SIM feature phones, priced between Rs. 1399 and Rs. 2499

Zync has launched range of Dual SIM feature phones, Zync C18, Zync C21, Zync C22, Zync C24, Zync C27 and the Zync C30 in India. The company entered into the Smartphone market in October with the Zync Cloud Z5, a 5-inch phablet. These new phones support  Dual SIM (GSM+GSM) support with Dual Standby and comes with a loudspeaker, 4GB micro SD card, USB connectivity, Bluetooth, dual LED torch light, 1.3 MP with video recording, music player, FM radio and more. Intex iBuddy Connect 7-inch tablet with Voice calling, Android 4.0 launched for Rs 7,990

Intex has launched the iBuddy Connect, a new 7-inch tablet in the iBuddy range. Most of the features are similar to the 7-inch i-Buddy tablet that was launched earlier this year, but this comes with a SIM card slot and supports voice calling features. It has a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and is powered by a 1 GHz processor. It runs on Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and comes with a 2MP rear camera other than the VGA front-facing camera. It also comes with pre-loaded apps such as Nimbuzz, Skype, Facebook, India Today and Aaj Tak. Huawei Ascend Mate with 6.1 inch 1080p screen spotted ahead of CES launch

Expected to be unveiled at CES in January, Huawei’s newest smartphone was shown off by Richard Yu. The Chairman of devices at Huawei flaunted the device at a store in Guangzhou yesterday. Called the Ascend Mate, the Android powered smartphone has a massive 6.1 inch 1080p screen with 361ppi.

Facebook Poke for iPhone launched, takes on Snapchat

Facebook has finally launched a new app called Poke for iPhone as rumored. This app would let you send a message, photo, or video to Facebook friends that expires after a specific time (1, 3, 5 or 10 seconds). This message disappears after the specified time. Dropbox Beta for Android updated with Multiple photo sharing, deleting and Albums in Photos tab

Dropbox for Android introduced photos tabs for uploads back in October, now they have released a new Beta version that enhances the photos tab. The new 2.2.2.8 experimental build for Android brings option select, share , delete and create albums from the photos tab. The Dropbox for iPhone and iPad got the Photos tab in the version 2.0 update last week but these new features are not available yet. Apple increases orders for iPad mini, projected to sell 12 million minis by year end

Previously the iPad Mini was expected to sell around 10 million, but now DigiTimes is reporting that Apple has increased the orders from 8 to 10 million, which means that Apple might be selling around 12 million of the 7.9″ iPad Minis.

Reliance to test voice services on 4G networks

Coming from an Economic Times article, it looks like Reliance Industries limited (RIL) is all set to get approval from the telecom department (DoT) for testing voice services on its yet-to-be-launched 4G networks. This comes as a surprise as Airtel has been the only 4G player as of now, with limited network distribution.
