Micromax A116 Canvas HD gets priced at Rs. 13990
Micromax has announced that the A116 Canvas HD would be priced at Rs. 13990. It would go on sale tomorrow from the official site as they announced last week. Micromax unveiled the A116 Canvas HD with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor last month.The phone runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and packs a 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. Garnet Red Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE launched by Samsung in Korea
Samsung has released the Garnet Red Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE in Korea, just in time for the Valentine’s Day. Samsung released the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in Korea back in November last year. The Garnet Red version would come with a matching Red colored S Pen. LG Optimus G Pro with 5.5-inch 1080p curved glass display announced
LG has finally unveiled the Optimus G Pro that comes with a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD curved glass display with a dynamic and streamlined glass border in the front panel that would offer 2.5 D effect. It also has a glass back with digital cube patterns, similar to the Optimus G. It also has minimal bezel on the sizes that would offer a better grip. The company released the Optimus G Pro for the Japanese market last month that has a 5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display. Foursquare for Android updated with new check-in screen, easier Explore and more
Foursquare for Android has received a major update (v2013-02-12) that brings easier explore features, a new slide out drawer to access your Profile & History, To-Do List and more, instead of bottom buttons and a new Maps in the home screen that shows your friends near by. The new check-in screen and check-in insights that were released for the Foursquare app for the iPhone back in December are now available for Android. Apple has been looking to make serious changes to the exterior appearance of their devices as they have been applying for various kinds of patents like the fingerprint sensor, and now we have news that they have just been granted the patent for Microslot antenna by the USPTO which integrates cellular and wireless radio antennas into the case material.
Apple iPad 4 or iPad mini?
The Apple iPad mini was released on October 23rd ,2012 which is roughly 2 and a half years and three generations after the original Apple iPad that was announced on January 27, 2010. What’s special with the iPad mini is that Apple were vehemently denying the need for a smaller iPad, but as they always do, they caved in and then came the iPad mini. But there is always this confusion and a identity crisis associated with a new product, the iPad had it, and naturally, the iPad mini too. Indirectly acknowledging the fact that there is a market for smaller and cheaper iPads, Apple took a risk of cannibalising their own products which include the iPod touch and the original iPad, or did they? Google Now to be updated with widget support pretty soon
Google Now is one of the main features which debuted with Android 4.1, and is a direct competitor to iOS’s Siri. Google has been concentrating on this piece of software from a long time and has been updating it with more cards and features and just recently Google updated their support page which showed glimpses of Google Now widgets.

MTV Volt with 6-inch display, Android 4.1 launched for Rs. 12999
MTV has partnered with SWIPE Telecom to launched a co-branded phablet, the MTV Volt in India. It has a 6-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a dual-core 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has an inbuilt TV-player that offers on-the-go access to MTV and FM Radio with FM Transmitter. This would compete with Byond Phablet PIII and the Karbonn A30 that were launched back in December.
