Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1 update coming to Nokia 700, 701 and 603


Nokia has announced that they plan to offer Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1 update for Nokia 700, 701 and 603 smart phones that came with Nokia Belle pre-installed. Nokia 808 PureView that was announced earlier this week at MWC, already comes with Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1. Nokia started rolling out Nokia Belle update forAnna devices earky last month and for the Nokia 500 mid February. Other than new features this update would offer increase in processor speed from 1GHz to 1.3GHz for Nokia 700 and 701. Storage Options announces Scroll Extreme 10-inch ICS tablet for UK at £189.99

Storage Options, the UK-based technology brand has announced Scroll Extreme, a new tablet that runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It is powered by 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor with Mali-400 Dual Core Graphics Processor. It has 9.7-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) IPS Capacitive Multi-touch display and 1GB DDR3 RAM. It has 2MP back camera, VGA front camera and 16-bit G-sensor, enabling the ten inch screen to rotate 360 degrees. ARCHOS announces Child Pad with 7-inch display and Android 4.0 at $129

ARCHOS7 has announced a new Android tablet for children, called the Child Pad. It has 7-inch display, powered by 1GHz processor and runs on 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It comes with 1GB RAM and has Kid friendly features such as Kids App Store powered by AppsLib which has 10,000 apps in 14-friendly categories including games, entertainment, communication, multimedia, books, comics, sports and more. LG Wireless Charging Pad WCD-800 announced

LG has announced a new Wireless Charging Pad (WCD-800), successor of the Wireless Charging Pad (WCP-700) that was launched last year. The new charging pad is large to fit large phones that could be placed both in horizontal and vertical directions on the base cradle. This lets the users read messages, emails and view calls comfortably when placed in the vertical manner and they can conveniently watch TV and movies in horizontal way. Asus Transformer Prime launched in India for Rs. 49,999


Asus has finally launched the Eee Pad Transformer Prime in India. Asus announced the tablet last November. It has 10.1-inch LED backlit display that offers 178-degree viewing angle and has a maximum brightness of 600 nits. The tablet is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and runs on Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) (upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich). Flipboard for iPad gets Cover Stories feature, launches a new French edition

 

Flipboard app for iPad now has the Cover Stories, a new feature that was launched with the iPhone app last December. The Flipboard iPhone and iPad apps now has a French Edition that offers content from French publications, blogs and other content sources. The Cover Stories offers personal feed of the most interesting news, updates and photos being shared with you. Cover Stories learns what readers like from their interactions with news, posts and photos shared by friends and sources.Both the iPhone and the iPad app has also received new features based on reader’s feedback. Sony Xperia NXT family hands-on

Sony announced two new Xperia NXT smartphones at MWC a couple of days ago and today we had a chance to go hands-on with the new devices, the Xperia P and Xperia U, alongside the already announced Xperia S. Read on for our hands-on impressions.

With the new Xperia NXT family, Sony has introduced a new design language that looks stunning. While the new Xperia S, Xperia P and Xperia U were developed under Sony Ericsson, the far reaching influence of Sony are clear. The translucent bar near the bottom of the phones for example reminds me of a couple of their Bravia TV models with ‘floating’ frame construction. Read on for our hands-on impressions.

Nokia 808 Pureview hands-on impressions and more photos!

In a swift move to change the landscape of mobile photography forever, Nokia unveiled their latest camera flagship device on monday here at MWC. The intention was simple: End the Megapixel race. And end it on top. Having said that, Nokia today blew the competition out of the water by announcing the Nokia 808 Pureview, a Symbian Belle-powered, 41(!!) Megapixel device, with an obvious heavy focus on photography and videorecording. We were lucky enough to get an invite to a Q+A/hands-on session with the great people from Nokia Connects, and here’s what Nokia’s new camera flagship device is all about:
