Nokia Normandy aka Nokia A110 reportedly leaked via Indonesian FCC documents

One thing Nokia has found it tough, is to keep the Nokia Normandy under covers. There have been numerous leaks about the device and there were also rumors that the device was shelved, but it turns out that the latest development suggests that Nokia will indeed be launching the Normandy. Nokia Normandy had been identified as Nokia A110 running on Android 4.4 KitKat by GSMArena, now it has leaked at Indonesian FCC.

Micromax enters into Russian market with new Canvas Beat and Canvas Social smartphones

Micromax has announced that they have started their operations in Russia by launching new Canvas and Bolt smartphones in the country. The company would be operating through a partnership with VVP Group, one of the leading distributors in Russia. It would launch 14 products in the Russian market in the initial phase. It had launched two new Canvas smartphones, the Micromax Canvas Beat A114R and the Canvas Social A94 in Russia. Sharp Aquos mini SHL24 with 4.5-inch 1080p IGZO display, Snapdragon 800 processor announced

Sharp has unveiled Aquos mini SHL24, the company’s latest smartphone in the Aquos series for Japanese operator KDDI. The smartphone has a 4.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD IGZO screen at a pixel density of 487 ppi. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and runs on Android 4.2. It has a 13.1-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor. It also has IPX5/IPX7 ratings for water resistance. The Nokia Lumia 525, a newly launched device that we unboxed recently, has been known to be a slightly upgraded variant of the Lumia 520. It carries almost exactly the same spec sheet and hardware except for the RAM, which has been upped to 1 GB for obvious reasons. With an incredibly small change in hardware, one would expect everything else to remain the same. But that is not the case with the 525, because it comes with Lumia Black firmware update out of the box, which brings some algorithm-level changes to the already robust camera interface, the Nokia Camera. Huawei has launched the Ascend P6 S, the successor of last year’s Ascend P6 in China. It has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display based on in-cell LCD screen technology, similar to the Ascend P6, but this one is powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei’s own Emotion UI 2.0 on top. Xolo Q3000 Camera Samples

Xolo just launched their Xolo Q3000 and it is their latest flagship device. The Xolo Q3000 is a huge device and has a 5.7inch Full HD 1080p display. With a quad-core MediaTek MT6589T processor under the hood, it joins the league of MediaTek powered Full HD smartphones in the mid-range segment. The Xolo Q3000 is a solidly build device, but is just too big for most people. Like most phones that it competes with, it comes with a 13MP camera on the back and a 5MP camera on the front.
